Purpose

Every Unit will comes with a breakdown of all CCSSM addressed in the Unit and a detailed overview of the Unit to support teachers in understanding what concepts are being taught in the Unit.

CCSSM

Common Core State Standards of Mathematics (CCSSM) is a set of concept standards that are developed and used in the United States. States can decide whether to adopt CCSS for education in their state.

CCSSM in the Unit

A breakdown is provided on where each CCSSM shows up in the unit and how it shows up in the unit.

Unit Overview

Unit Overviews intend to help extend the knowledge of teachers using the curriculum by expalining the mathematical concepts in adult level terms to support the knowledge and teaching of the educator.

The Unit Overview also includes examples of types of problems that you will see in the unit.
